Vibrational healing accesses the
limitless energy which surrounds us, penetrates us, and composes all energy and
matter in existence. This limitless energy is sometimes called chi, prana, or
'the force." It has also been called the Quantum Particle Flux, or Zero
Point energy. Whatever it is called, accessing it is what all living things do
in every moment of their existence, else they would be dead. Sickness and
disease comes about from blocking the flow of this energy (see " Health and Disease "). Vibrational
healing is a way to get the energy flowing again. A healer is someone who has
learned to access and direct a portion of this energy at will.
But many healers have a confusion how
the process of healing works.
Many healers who do vibrational healing
work have the idea that they are "flowing energy" to the client, and
that the client's receipt of the healer's energy is what is causing the
client to get better. But this is not happening at all. The healer is often
acting somewhat like a placebo. The healer's presence makes it OK for
the client to allow his/her source energy to flow through him/her.
This is why energy which is flowed by the same healer feels different to every
person. Healers sometimes explain this by saying that the same energy feels
different to each client because each client has a different energetic
structure, and is blocked in different ways, so the energy will flow to
different places and do different things. Or, that each client needs
different energy from the healer. But really, it is the client who is directing
the flow of energy to himself, and it feels different because the client
is creating or attracting different energy streams depending upon the clients
needs.
The client is only uncomfortable
because he/she is disallowing the flow of energy from his/her energy field
which surrounds his body. The client is pushing against the natural flow
of balanced energy, blocking it.
The healer feels the energy coming
through his body and hands, so the healer thinks that this energy which is
flowing through her/him is the same energy which is flowing to the
client. But while the healer may be directing energy to the client,
it is the client who is attracting or inviting his own energy stream via his change
of vibration, which the healer, by her presence, has enabled the client
to allow. The client is completely in charge of the healing process, no
matter what the healer is doing! The amazing thing is that the client , through
his own change in vibration brought about by the presence of the healer, may be
attracting energy completely different from the energy the healer is directing!
Healers should understand this, because it is often the reason for
"failed" healings. For example, a very effective healer may get a
client who does not respond to the healer's treatment. This causes a healer to
sometimes feel disappointment, or in extreme cases, even doubt of the healer's
own ability. But what is happening is that the client is not willing to accept
the change in vibration that is being allowed by the presence of the healer.
The healer is doing her job, it is the client who is not allowing the
vibrational change necessary to unblock his energy stream. This is NO FAULT of
the healer (or the client for that matter). It's important for both
healer and client to understand the mechanics behind the healing process, so
that both can remain empowered throughout the healing cycle.
No one can create in the experience of
another, because each being is sovereign, creating his own world from within
himself. Although energy may flow to a client from a healer, only the client
can allow it. Of course if the client shows up for a healing
session, the client has already given permission to accept energy from the
healer. And equally true, the energy of both healer and client are
imtermingling. But the nuts and bolts of how energy is transmitted from
healer and received by client, is all about how the client allows energy
to flow into the client's energy field and body. The client will improve
to the degree that the client gives permission for it, regardless what
the healer does.
If the client has the idea that
the healer's energy is responsible for his improvement, it can lead to
dependency and disempowerment. It is important to explain to the client that
he/she alone determines the nature of the healing process. The client can
invite/allow the natural energy transfer that is necessary for health from his
own energy field, without the necessity for the healer's presence at all
(see " Health and Disease ").
This is something that should be made absolutely clear to each client a healer
works with. Of course, almost all clients will probably elect to receive
treatment even with this knowledge, but treatment will be more effective
if the client feels empowered. And if treatment is more effective, the healer
will draw more clients!
Sometimes when a healer thinks he
or she is "flowing energy" to the client, and that the healer's
energy is responsible for a client's improved condition, egos can
get bigger. "My energy is more powerful than yours." "My clients
say they like my energy best." Etc,Etc,Etc.
A healer and client both should
be clear what he or she is doing: the healer provides an opportunity for
the client, fully empowered, to allow his/her own betterment.
