What Makes Youngevity Different?

How is Youngevity different from other companies? Mainly, Dr. Wallach’s passion for the benefits of good nutrition! I drove 50 miles to see this guy lecture and I was so impressed that I drove 60 miles the next night in a winter blizzard to see the same lecture again. The lecture, called "Dead Doctors Don't Lie," is the most popular health lecture in the world, and has sold over 60 million copies. Dr. Wallach gives 300 free lectures per year all over the United States, and hosts a free call-in medical Question and Answer radio program. Personally, I began taking the products and they have worked better for me than any prescription drug, herbal supplements / vitamin supplements, naturopathic remedies, etc. that I've tried (and I've tried lots of them)! In just 6 weeks using these products I have been able to recover from two years of chronic fatigue brought about by metal poisoning. It's amazing!

Dr. Wallach has been involved in Bio-medical research and treating animals and people for more than 40 years. Dr. Wallach and Youngevity have filed several Health Claim petitions with the FDA and obtained two Qualified Health Claims. There are only a handful of Authorized Health Claims that have been fully vetted by the FDA process.

Dr. Wallach and Youngevity spent a ton of money to get the Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acid Claims authorized. The OMB (Office of Management and Budget) urged the FDA to amend the Dietary Guidelines and to get the information out about the importance of Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids, yet it took the Youngevity petition to get the claim approved.

Because there are hundreds of beneficial nutrients and many of them have multiple beneficial effects for the human body, that means there are many more of these claims that must be filed.

The claims Youngevity has gotten authorized so far have to do with reducing the risk of certain cancers by consuming the trace mineral selenium, and reducing the risks of CHD or Cardiovascular Heart Disease by consuming EPA and DHA, which are Essential Fatty Acids primarily found in fish oils. More than 500,000 Americans die each year from CHD.

Dr. Wallach and Youngevity have not only sued the FDA, they have defended the FDA and the Health Claim Petition Process as well. The FDA was sued by the CSPI which claimed that the Health Claim Petition Process violated the FDA guidelines. Youngevity and Dr. Wallach wanted to help ensure this information continued to be available to the public, so they asked the court to be codefendants with the FDA. By doing this, they could help to protect the Health Claim Petition Process.

Ultimately The FDA, Youngevity, Dr. Wallach and others were successful in defending The Health Claim Petition Process, but we all know that we will have to be diligent in always defending this process. We know there will always be groups that want to limit your access to these nutrients and this information.

In case you were wondering, Dr. Wallach and Youngevity are not in the nutrition business solely to make money. Of course the guy makes money -- he promotes his products at his lectures. But you won't find a harder working, passionate fellow when it comes to successful nutrition and health. I've met and talked to the guy three times. He's legit.  Of course he promotes his products, but when you have something that really works, you want to let people know about it.

Abundance is a natural outgrowth of integrity and truth. It would be remarkable indeed if Dr. Wallach was NOT wealthy!

And anyway, I have no patience with people who object to making money from something good. There are those who think that money is evil and that anything good can't be tainted with money. Well folks, if good people don't make money and acquire influence, then the bad guys will take over. It's as simple as that. Look around the world today and see who has the power and influence. Isn't it about time the good guys stood up and started to change things for the better? Well, by joining Youngevity you can be part of a movement that is going to increase health and drastically lower the cost of doing so. According to USA Today, "The cost of providing health care adds from $1,100 to $1,500 to the cost of each of the 4.65 million vehicles GM sold last year, according to various calculations. GM expects to spend at least $5.6 billion on health care this year, more than it spent on advertising last year." [1]

I'm all for practicality and not just daydreaming! Health care is out of control. If you want to do something really effective to increase your own physical well being and that of your friends, I'm offering you the opportunity to do so.

Dr. Wallach has worked with and against the FDA to get health information to the public so they may use it to make a better-informed decision regarding their own health. As long as there are those that would want to limit your access to these nutrients and this information, it is important to have people with guts and determination to defend your rights to have access to them.

"For the rapid increase in knowledge it becomes more and more apparent that the science of nutrition is the foundation of a more rational medicine. It is to be hoped that on future occasions the work of this section will not be limited to physiological, biochemical, pathological, and medical aspects of the subject, but that it will include those that are veterinary and agricultural."
